Halloween 2015

The kids are still begging us to carve the pumpkins sitting in the garage because we forgot about them, but at least the costumes got finished this year!

Reuben: Pirate
Adeline: Izzy the Pirate
Rigby: Skeleton
Peter: Blue Rayman (from a video game)

Peter HATED the hat I made him, so that is why he is refusing to look at the camera.

His cuteness melts my heart!

This outfit suits Adeline perfectly; purple and pink--her favorites!

This boy loves to pose! This is his scary skeleton pose. He thought he might not be able to wear this costume to school because they told the kids they could not come as anything too scary. I told him he could be a nice skeleton and he decided that would be okay.

He said there was no way we could trick him in order to make him look at the camera.

The boys tell Scott that he has a tricky soul because he teases them a lot. Good thing he does have a tricky soul because Scott was able to trick Peter into looking at the camera. Silly boy!

Beach 2015

A lot of pictures and a lot of fun!

The Beach
We applied A LOT of sunscreen, every day, to four kids.

Eric & Ryan

There was a storm that produced some big, awesome, scary waves that the "big boys" could not pass up.

Trip Out West

In July, I successfully flew to Utah with four kids! Flying by myself, with the kids, literally makes sick beforehand--especially the security part. They were very well behaved, especially during the two hour layover in Denver. Thankfully Scott flew in for the last half of our trip and helped me entertain Reuben and Adeline on the flight home. There are A LOT of pictures in this post, many that I have posted before, but we love looking at the blog and just remembering!

Rockets - American Fork, UT

Flowers on Grandpa Madsen's Grave - Provo Cemetery

Grandpa Farrow's Grave - St. Charles, ID
You can see Reuben throwing an epic tantrum in the background.

Croquette at Grandpa & Grandma's - Idaho Falls, ID

Grandma & Grandpa's Spider Collection - Idaho Falls, ID
Growing up my grandparents had a large ant that us girls would chase each other around with. For some reason whenever we got any plastic spiders/insects, we would take them up to my grandparent's house, and it just ended up as a silly collection. My family gave this spider to them as a gag gift for Christmas one year. They now keep the plastic spider/insect collection on the computer desk for the kids to play with when they come.

Cabin - Island Park, ID
If it was not too cold we would eat outside. It was nice that the kid's food droppings would end up outside instead of inside all over the floor. Also, Reuben LOVED opening and shutting the door!

Rigby with his rock collection! So proud of him (cause Scott and I happen to LOVE rocks). Now we just need to help him find "good rocks" instead of the cement ones he always gathers.
My dad and Scott came up a few days after the women and kids. The toilet would not flush without a plunger, so my dad had to take it out and trouble shoot. The kids and I called it a "toilet party!"

How could I not take a picture?! I think I have seen my kids sit like this on the toilet before.

We ran the kids hard, so they came home exhausted every night!

Always have to roast hot dogs and marshmallows!

My "personal photographer" (Scottie) captured this sweet moment.
Scottie is loving to take pictures of the Milky Way lately.

Grizzly Bear Discovery Center - West Yellowstone, MT
Peter and Rigby got to hide food while the bears were in their cages, and then we watched the bears hunt for it.

Scott did not have enough vacation to come for the full two weeks we were gone, so he just came the last 5 days while we were at the cabin. Reuben would not let Scott out of his sight after missing daddy for a week. He screamed whenever anyone else would take him away from his daddy--even mommy!

Yellowstone National Park

Mammoth Hot Springs
Picnic at Mammoth Hot Springs - It was ridiculously cold in July!

We were hoping that Mammoth would be more active because of all the rain and snow last year, but I think that Mammoth's more active days are long gone. This entire slope use to be so colorful and full of water, but it is all dried up and white now.

Scottie did get some fun pictures. I love seeing all the unique textures and colors in these photos.

Old Faithful

These two are BFF's for eternity!

Reuben loves to ham it up for the camera!

Peter and Rigby ended up walking four or five miles this day, but Adeline and Reuben got to catch free rides on shoulders and in the stroller when they got tired.

Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

We usually have to drag Rigby out of bed in the morning, drag him around the house to clean up, drag him into the bathroom to brush his teeth, etc. This was so fun and amazing to see him dragging me down the trail to the Lower Falls! Scott and I LOVED seeing the boys enjoy and develop a love for the things that we love too!

We had such an amazing time! We miss you family and mountains!
