Family Pictures at the Beach

All seven of Scott's siblings were able to come and most of his Grandma & Grandpa Freeman's children & spouses, grandchildren and spouses and great-grandchildren were there as well for a total of 72 people!

All of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Ralph and Claudia Freeman.

All of the children, spouses and grandchildren of Doug and Kristine Flamm.

Good family pictures are a thing of the past with this many young children.  Better luck next year!

Everybody in their tie-dye shirts.

This picture was a train wreck, but a very cute and funny train wreck!
This is what happens late at night on the last night of vacation.

Beach 2014

We had so much fun at the beach this year (minus being sick and the many middle of the night parties I had with Reuben;)!  There were a lot of fun moments and many great memories made.

The kids LOVED playing in the ocean with their clothes on.

Rigby and Peter had a blast digging holes, . . .

. . . burying themselves . . .

. . . and rolling around in the sand like a pig in the mud!

The cousins had fun playing on the table, . . .

. . . blowing bubbles with (and ON) Grandma, . . .

. . . climbing all over the extremely tired adults, . . .

. . . and watching some shows in their jammies.

The adults enjoyed talking, . . .

. . . passing the babies off to the uncles . . .

. . . and aunts, . . .

. . . looking at the beautiful view from the rocking chairs on the porch, . . .

. . . and eating/visiting during the traditional girls'/guys' night out.

We all had fun tie-dying t-shirts, . . .

. . . and just spending time together.

Long Term Investments

We had a lot of fun moments this summer, but it was also a challenging one with Scott being gone so much.  I had to remind myself that our children are . . .
(times by four)

Especially when they do things like this on Scott's and my birthday.  Thanks Rigby!  Bread, flour and jam on the carpet; not exactly the birthday cake I wanted.  Loving my carpet cleaner though!  I think Scottie came home to eat dinner and help me with the kids for one hour that day; not a great day for either of us.  Oh well, could be worse.

Many days they looked like this: Adeline not matching and wearing Reuben't pants, Peter still in pajamas, and Rigby sporting the underwear look (at least he is not naked).  I promise I dressed them when we went out in public.

But amidst the craziness there were some fun and cute moments that melted my heart.

The boys love doing soda pop bottle experiments.  Here they are with one where we watched the yeast and sugar produce CO2 which caused this balloon to blow up.

The kids enjoyed making these chocolate mustaches and lips with my mom.

Grandma Stewart also spoiled them by getting them some fun pajamas.

We did a lot of fun activities and earned some "brag tags" (little plastic tags) to put on their key chains:

Roller Skating

Lego Building Workshop

Scooter Ride

Library Reading Program
(12 hours of reading or being read to)

By the way kids, I do expect some BIG returns someday like lots of grandchildren and taking care of your dad and I when we get elderly.  Love you all so much!
