Adeline's 5th Birthday

As you can tell, Adeline LOVES the color pink. She requested pink cupcakes with sprinkles. She also requested a Cinderella balloon (which she calls "Singerella" cause of her speech difficulties, so cute!) She got a Minnie Mouse shirt, sunglasses and a case, a pink princess nightgown and some Sofia the First toys. We love having this little girl around. Adeline loves to take care of and boss her brothers around. She is also starting to like jewelry (yea!). We love you, Baby Girl!

The Leprechaun Trap! 2017

Rigby has been dreaming of making a leprechaun trap for a year now. He left gold coins in the large plastic jar. Then he placed a chenille stem rope for the leprechaun to climb up to the tissue paper, which he hoped would break-trapping the leprechaun for us all to see!

Peter & Rigby showing off their leprechaun trap!

Being up at night to feed Timothy, I got a quick picture of the leprechaun ready to steal the gold coins.

Rigby woke up to all the gold gone and no trapped leprechaun. He got a nasty note from the little green guy though:

Timothy Trying Solids

Baby facial expressions are the best when they first try solids!

Rigby's 7th Birthday

Rigby requested a king cake for his birthday this year; which we love, because it gives us an excuse to buy more king cakes during Mardi Gras season! He got church socks, legos, Toilet Trouble (ahhhh!) and a Megazord (Power Ranger toy). He really likes Power Ranger right now. He also is loving that he gets to do school projects because it fulfills his need to create. We love Rigby's sweet and sensitive spirit and calm personality. He loves his siblings so much that he will cry when they get punished or hurt. We love you Rigby!

Grandma & Grandpa Stewart's Visit

Mandeville Maritime Museum
Reuben was loving all of the anchors at this museum. I think the anchors reminded him of one of his favorite shows--Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

Oak Alley Plantation

Stennis Space Center
Just over the border with Mississippi is the place where NASA tests many of their rocket engines. There is a museum and then they will take you on a bus tour past many of the test sights.

All the kids looking at the coins in the fountain.

Reuben was on a rampage this day from lack of sleep and food. He ran around like a mad man and fell apart at everything. This is probably one of the few times he held still.

Adeline requested she get her picture taken next to her Lego creation. There were so many fun building workshops at this place.

Timothy's Blessing

Because the holidays made coordinating times with grandparents difficult, we ended up waiting to bless Timothy the end of January at 4 months old. Besides being one month older than when the other boys were blessed, he is also just a big baby so we ended up having to purchase another blessing outfit in a 9-12 month size. At four months he weighed 17 lbs. 12 oz. and was 26.5 inches (both in the 90th percentiles) compared to the other three boys who were closer to the 50th percentiles. We love to kiss those chubby cheeks of his!

We had plans to bless him at church but Adeline brought home a nasty stomach virus that hit everybody HARD. Since Scott could hardly get out of bed Sunday morning, we asked a very brave bishopric member to come by our house in the evening so we could bless Timothy before Doug and Kris had to fly home the next day. It all worked out in the end and if we have anymore kids, I think I might like to have it at home again (minus the virus of coarse!).

Nana & Grandpa Flamm's Visit

Oak Alley Plantation

Laura Plantation

A really cool beehive at Laura Plantation.

The kids were plantationed out by this point. Both Adeline and Reuben turned into little gremlins.

Most of the wood work in this house is not original because of a fire, but all of the brick work is original.

Airplanes
Each of the kids, except Rigby, had a melt down this day. Adeline freaked out because she got muddy, Peter freaked out because he could not figure out how to throw the airplanes and Reuben freaked out because he had to take turns. Finally, they each calmed down and had a blast!
