House Projects

After repainting most of our first house, we always said we would never do that again or we would pay someone. Well, life is all about eating your words, right?! Living in Bakersfield has been a struggle for me, even though we have been here for two years; so to cope with my issues, I have tackled and drug Scott into a lot of house projects. (thank you my ever so patient husband)

Repainting the front door:

The front door paint was bubbling, so we decided to strip the green paint off instead of just painting over. Thank you for spending hours doing this Scottie!

And now it is blue! I love blue and yes, my front porch is very patriotic.

Repainting the back doors:

Green to blue again.

Repainting the house:

We have slowly been repainting every room in the house; we only have the master bathroom and closet left to paint.

Climbing this ladder to paint the stairs was a little bit scarier than I thought it would be. This paint color is here to stay because I don't want to climb up here again anytime soon.

My robe had been lost for a few week and Scott happen to find it while hunting down paint supplies. He put it on to see how long it would take me to notice. Thanks for making me laugh, love you!

Timothy's house projects:

The toddler age is so much fun and frustrating at the same time. This was Tim's first piece of artwork on any medium. It wasn't his last either; my newly painted walls have been shown a lot of love by our little artist! After years of this I have learned that washable markers and crayons are the only way to go.

Reorganizing & decluttering the entire house:

I have a problem with compulsive and continual organizing and reorganizing. I've moved things so much that I think I have driven my husband a bit crazy. My closets look awesome though!

Easter 2019

Timothy & Reuben before the "little kid egg hunt"

Rigby, Adeline & Peter before the "big kid egg hunt."
A kid in Louisiana knew Rigby liked frogs and gave him a frog they got from Mardi Gras; it has "first Easter" on it, so Rigby insists that the frog be in Easter pictures and a part of the hunt.

It's always a mad dash to put away the candy before the kids eat it all and get sick, ha!
