Yellowstone 2018

I am so happy that Scott was able to come the entire time on our trip to Utah this year. We were able to do so many things this year because we had no baby and I was not pregnant! We hiked around Mesa Falls, hiked to Fairy Falls, went to Playmill Theatre, played at the cabin, drove up to the top of Mount Sawtell and just had fun with family. I LOVED this trip!

Cabin

Gotta love the picnics on the porch.

The kids are really into group hugs lately. It makes my momma heart almost burst.

When you don't have a screen to entertain you, you do puzzles! The kids were so proud of themselves.

Sara came up for a couple of days, but unfortunately had car problems and a pregnancy scare. We wish we could have spent more time with her and the girls, but at least Adeline and Charlotte were able to have fun sleeping in their couch bed together.

The older kids had fun playing in the grass and trying to build a fort.

Fairy Falls Hike
By the end of this hike, we were all so jealous of Tim's free ride. The kid is probably close to 30 pounds and between Scott and I, we packed him six or seven miles this day! We were all exhausted by the end-except Tim of coarse!

Tim kept tossing rocks into the water and then clapping for himself. It was adorable!

One of my favorite family pictures!

Mount Sawtell

We learned that Peter has a very strong fear of heights as we drove up Mount Sawtell (the mountain directly behind my Grandma's cabin). Here is Grandma Stewart trying to comfort a very terrified Peter.

Family Picture on top of Mount Sawtell with Henry's Lake in the background. Peter's face on this picture shows his strong dislike of this activity.

Tim did not want to stop playing in the water, ha!

Bison
We generally do not take a lot of pictures of the wildlife because we have been to Yellowstone so much and have gotten a lot of nice pictures. Sometimes we get really lucky though and see some animals really close. We were driving in the north part of the park when we saw herds of bison crossing the road and got some great pictures.
