Here is my baby boy all ready to head off to kindergarten! Okay, he is not a baby anymore, but looking back, five years went by much too quickly. I am one of those strange moms that cried several times about him leaving for all-day kindergarten. I miss him and am always excited to see him more on the weekends; although, I have to admit that it has been nice to spend some more one-on-one time with Rigby who is often overshadowed by his big brother.
Peter LOVES kindergarten. Mornings are a little hard because he inherited Scott's and mine night owlish natures, but every time he runs off the bus he says, "that was the best day ever!" He is such an eager learner and loves playing with his friends at school. He always comes home singing a song he learned at school or one that he made up about something at school. In fact, he usually performs a song or two at dinner time for us. He sings ALL the time, and we love hearing it so don't stop Peter.
