This is an amendment to the end of my last post. My sister Sara said that I needed to put a similar picture of Rigby next to Peter's so here they are:

Peter and Rigby
My cute little boys:
They love taking baths together. Peter is always a little upset when Rigby pees in the tub. Funny thing is that I am pretty sure Peter often does it as well.
Rigby absolutely adores Peter. Peter can make him laugh and smile better than anyone. When he is upset, as soon as he sees Peter, he is happy again. Rigby is anxious to sit up, so he has been a little discontent laying down lately. Although, he is in absolutely no hurry to roll over.
Peter is really into Buzz Lightyear right now. Also, he has discovered how to pick his nose and scabs too. Oh, boys. He has been watching me take care of Rigby and often does the same thing with his Curious George stuffed animal. He will pretend to nurse and burp "G" (as he calls him), as well as put him in the swing and place him under Rigby's toy. He has also begun saying prayers with our help (really cute!).
Just for fun, here is a picture of Peter at about Rigby's age right now:
Yard Improvements
I think both Scott and I are ready to be done with yard improvements for a long while. Here is the yard just after we moved in last summer:

After A LOT of weeding, digging up of half dead bushes, planting new bushes, pruning, more weeding, edging the lawn, watering the grass, and did I mention weeding :(, here is the finished product:
It is not as perfect as I would like it, but it will do for now.
Our grass was so overgrown that our electric edger could not cut through the grass. So, yesterday I went out with the kidos to edge it manually with one of those half-moon edgers. Progress was slow because I had to keep shoving the bink in Rigby's mouth. Also, I had to keep Peter from stomping on and dismantling our neighbor's sprinkler heads and keep him from getting run over by cars in the street. I guess the landscaping guys doing our other neighbor's yard felt sorry for me, so one of them offered to edge our lawn for free. THANK YOU! It made me wish that ALL of our unfinished projects around the house would resolve themselves so easily. Oh well, that is life I suppose.

Lately
We have been a bit boring since everybody left. Here are a few pictures from the past couple of weeks though.

He absolutely loved his doggie before the zoo. However, once he figured out what it was truly designed for, he threw several screaming tantrums while trying to pull it off.
We were quite the spectacle.
Rigby is growing like a weed. The kid fits snuggly into many 3-6 month clothes and he is not even 3 months old until Saturday. He eats less than Peter did, but I guess he does not spit up half of his meal or more like Peter did (I can only imagine how chubby Peter would have been had he kept it all down!). Rigby is still a fabulous baby-happy almost all the time!
Peter has been busy as usual. The other day, he found paper clips (in a child proof drawer) and stuck them in the electrical outlet (which had a plug cover on it). He got shocked and came to me crying. Hopefully he has learned his lesson or at least I will catch him before he does it next time.
Scottie and I have been redoing our flower beds in the front. When we moved in nothing was pruned, half of the bushes had died and been removed, and the other half were on their death beds. It looks much better now and I cannot wait until next spring when everything blooms!
Rigby in his cute little Sunday shirt. Unfortunately he is too chubby to wear it anymore. I could not get the top button done up because his little neck had too many fat rolls.
The kid is chunky!

Here is his classic brow furrowing expression.
We were able to go to the zoo on Scottie's Friday off. Here is Peter with his doggie leash.

Scottie was busy trying out his zoom lens at the zoo, so I was never able to snag the camera to take a picture of him. But here is a picture of him and Rigby on the couch.

Rigby's 2 Month Apt
I know, this is my millionth post this month. So many things have been happening though. Here is a little post about Rigby.
23 1/2 inches - 50%
head circumference - 25%
head circumference - 25%
He smiles, bats at toys very well, and occasionally grabs them. He is usually always content, but is sometimes very sensitive and startles easily. He looks a lot like Peter did at this age; he is just a little chubbier and has darker hair and eyes.

State Parks - April 2010
We went to Battleship Texas State Park with Scottie's family over the weekend. It is the only remaining dreadnought battleship from the WWI. All other battleships were destroyed because of treaty agreements. Here are some pictures:

Peter taking a nap (I wish). He was a wild boy running EVERYWHERE. The ship was a maze, so it was hard to keep track of the kid. Good thing the adults numbered six to one toddler so we had a fighting chance to keep track of him.
Doug & Scottie cranking the gun into position.
Peter, Kristine, Rachel, & Rigby
I was a nervous wreck with Peter around all of the ledges on this boat. AHHH! I am definitely buying a leash for future adventures such as this.

Kristine & Melissa
We also stopped by the San Jacinto Monument. This is where Texans finally defeated Santa Anna and won their independence from Mexico. I think this battle was only a couple of months after the Alamo.
Galveston - April 2010
This past week we were able to go down to Galveston on Scottie's Friday off. We saw some oil rigs and stopped by the beach while we were there.

Here are Peter, Rigby, and I on the contraption that
the helicopters use to transfer men and their gear on and off of oil rigs.

Ryan and Melissa in hard hats.
Sorry Melissa, but you have bad taste in hard hats (we prefer the Chevron variety). Ryan's choice was acceptable though.

Peter in a hard hat.

Ryan and Melissa posing as rough necks (oil rig workers).

Peter in his dream chair full of BUTTONS!!!
This is an example of the controls area/seat on an oil rig.

Rigby was such an angel.
He hardly made one little fuss in his car seat or
this backpack carrier the entire day.

The Beach at Galveston
There were several dead jelly fish that had washed up on shore.
I thought they were kind of neat looking.

Peter with Grandma and Grandpa Flamm.

I am amazed we were able to get this okay picture of our family.
Peter will NOT cooperate for pictures anymore.
It is so annoying!

I love the little concerned faces that Rigby makes.
He is always furrowing his brows like this.

The rectangular, black sign below the light in this picture, shows the high water mark for hurricane Ike in September 2008.
Oil rigs are a common sight in Galveston.
Here is an oil rig currently in use that has come in for repairs or maintainance.

Oh, one more thing. I thought it was cute that Peter kept saying, "mine, mine, mine. . .," every time he saw birds at the beach like on Finding Nemo.
