The Rest of the Summer

After our trip to Nauvoo, I went to girl's camp for the 1st time as a leader. It was a good learning experience and fun to get to know the girls and leaders better. Also, next time I will know what to expect and how to prepare myself mentally and emotionally. Sounds a little dramatic, but a camp full of hormonal girls and women is a very dramatic experience!

As a family, we were able to go to an Astro's game with some of the youth. The boys wore their "baseball shirts" and of coarse, would not cooperate for a picture. They are still a little too young to truly enjoy a baseball game, so they ran around a lot and enjoyed a LARGE snow cone.

They have probably been watching way too much television. Both Rigby and Peter love watching Backyardigans together.

I have started to do preschool at home with Peter. So far we have done a unit on apples, the 5 senses, and the ocean. We made instruments for sense of hearing.

We made an eye graph for sense of sight.

We had "special lunch" for sense of taste.

We also went on a field trip to the beach.
We said good-bye to "little blue." Scott's brother, Eric, took the car to Rexburg to be the next "college car."
We found a snake at our back door that was coiling up and getting ready to strike.

The boys have been keeping me entertained with their ever changing outfits and goofiness.
