Visiting with Family Part II

Scottie's family visited with us the week after Rigby's blessing. Here are some pictures of the kidos just hanging out with Grandma & Grandpa Flamm, Aunt Melissa, Aunt Kathryn, and Uncle Ryan.

Grandpa taught Peter to take his watch on and off. Every time Peter correctly clipped it back on, he and Grandpa would make a fist like this and say, "Alright!"
Rigby must have inherited his sleeping position from Grandpa Flamm.

Here is chubby little Rigby just relaxing with Grandma Flamm.

Here we are celebrating Melissa's 20th birthday.

We had fun eating things like alligator, calamari, gumbo, salmon, shrimp, crawfish, ketchup (only Peter), etc. at Pappadeaux's.

Here is Scottie posing with his crawfish at Pappadeaux's.

Here is Peter having some fries with his ketchup. He is OBSESSED with ketchup. I have learned that he inherited this from his Great-Grandma Flamm.

One last thing, Peter had a blast trying on Grandma Flamm's toes rings and then putting them in his purse. I promise he still is all boy though. Also, Peter wants to say thank you to Grandpa Flamm for the "Grandpa Juice" (Dr. Pepper).

Visiting with Family Part I

Here are some pictures of my family's visit:

Hangin' Out at Home

Peter loved having breakfast with Great Grandma and Grandpa Farrow. He also loved stealing their food. One morning he kept stealing their strawberries as fast as my Grandma could cut them. He also would come up and take a gulp of their drinks.

Peter was also attached to "Aunt Moosh." Marissa taught him to race her up and down the stairs while saying, "I'm goin beat, I'm goin beat you . . . "

We were able to celebrate my Grandma's and Mom's birthdays while they were here.

The Beach at Galveston

Peter was terrified of the sand at first (the texture), but he soon dug in and made a mess.

Peter screamed like a girl when he felt the cold water.

This is Rigby's first official dip into the Gulf--he screamed too.

Grandma & Grandpa-Great

Peter gives the BEST and LONGEST hugs
right before bedtime to everyone.
I wonder why?!

Moisturizing

I guess Peter will not have to worry about dry skin for a while-nor will the carpet,
window seal, and blinds that he shared with.

Sleepy Boys

Scottie went to comfort Peter during his nap today and ended up falling asleep too.

Rigby's Blessing

We have been able to have mine and Scott's family visit for Rigby's blessing. We have LOVED every minute of it. I am not looking forward to when they all leave-the kids will be absolute monsters. But in the mean time, Scott and I have thoroughly enjoyed going out on a couple of dates, having the kids entertained 24/7, and just visiting with everyone.

Here are some group pictures:

Our Little Family

The 5 Dougs
Douglas Murland Flamm - my father-in-law
Douglas Peter Flamm - my son
Douglas Scott Flamm - my hubby
Douglas Preston Stewart - my dad
Douglas Farrow - my grandpa (my mom's dad)

Rigby is really good at furrowing his brow and making little grimaces.

Here is Rigby's cute little smile.

Easter

Easter was fun this year because we had family around and Peter understood the concept of an Easter Egg hunt.

Peter shared candy with Grandma-Great, Grandpa-Great, Aunt Marissa, Mommy, and Daddy, but just as Grandma went to take a bite he pulled it away and shoved it into his mouth. What a little Indian giver!

Here is Peter reading his Easter books with Grandma Stewart.

Rigby snoozing through the entire thing under his toy.
He loves his toy! He is beginning to bat at and grab the toys. He usually spends anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour under this at a time if he has a full tummy.

Peter dying eggs with Aunt Moosh (as he calls her, it is really Marissa though).

My cute little egg head with his ridiculously long, dark, and curly eyelashes. I really think that he was teasing his sister in heaven and stole them right before he was born.

My Cute Little Boys

Here are some random pictures of my cute little boys. Peter is doing much better with Rigby now. He gives him kisses frequently; he also insists upon undoing any snaps or zippers and pulling the tabs off Rigby's diaper when it is time for a change.

I discovered this in the bathroom the other day. I guess Peter was trying to potty train "G" (Peter's name for Curious George). Don't worry, unfortunately NOTHING has been deposited in it by Peter.

As we were pulling Peter's shirt off to get his pajamas on, we found my hair ties on his arms. He had not been in our bathroom since that morning, so I guess he had them on all day under his shirt. He looks like a little Indian.

Here is our little handyman. When Scott goes to do a home improvement project, Peter can barely contain his excitement. He does a little manly grunt (like on the show Home Improvement) as he runs to help daddy.

I wish upon everyone a baby like Rigby. He has the sweetest disposition. I don't even mind the excessive spit up and poopy diaper issues because he is so content.
