Grandparents Visit

We were able to go to a plantation and just have fun together between Mardi Gras parades while my parents and Scott's parents were here for about 10 days. I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

Evergreen Plantation

They had the largest amount of original slave quarters of any plantation in the United States I believe. However, they would not let you walk by any of them except one. Lame!

One family was assigned each side which consisted of one room with a fireplace. Those poor people had no personal space!

The mansion started out a bit smaller and grew into the grand house it is today.
