St. Patrick's Day
I try not to establish too many elaborate traditions around the holidays because it gets too hard to maintain them with four kids. Rainbow cupcakes on St. Patrick's day happen to be an exception though. The kids love them and I find that the little kid in me cannot resist it either!

Easter
We usually do an Easter Egg hunt on Saturday night, so that we can focus more on Christ for Sunday.
The kids ended up gathering somewhere around 100 eggs (25 each). That is a lot of eggs, a lot of candy, and a lot of wrappers that had a hard time finding their way to the trash can. Peter has found out that our "Easter Bunny" likes to put loose change inside the eggs to cut down on candy consumption, so he goes around and shakes an egg before putting it in his bucket.
